About This Activity

Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, December 14, 2013.

In this class, dancers begin to learn in a more structured environment where movement is translated into steps of ballet! Students are introduced to the different movements of a ballet class - Barrer, Center, Adagio, Petit Allegro, Turns, Grand Allegro, and Reverence. Creativity and self-expression are encouraged in a fun, nurturing environment that fosters confidence. Dancers should wear ballet slippers. Girls should wear a leotard and their hair pulled back from their face. Boys should wear black work-out pants or shorts and a white or black t-shirt. This class is taught by Laura Mitchell. (6 weeks) (No class on November 30th)
