Kettlebell: Russian Kettlebell Training

About This Activity

This activity has been cancelled.

KETTLEBELL training is a one-stop workout - a portable gym. The workouts are challenging, yet fun and there is no limit to how far they can take you. This advanced training device is over 200 years old. Kettlebells have been the preferred method of strongmen throughout history. They will increase your cardiovascular output and develop strength and endurance like nothing else. Kettlebell training develops all purpose strength, amps resilience, maximizes staying power, blends strength with flexibility, hacks the fat off without dieting and aerobics, and forges a fighter's physique.
This is an introduction class where basic Kettle Bell movements will be taught by certified Russian Kettlebell Trainer, Ron Wetzell. This is a prerequisite class for those wanting to advance to training with Kettlebells in order to develop strength and improve cardiovascular fitness. All equipment will be provided. Wear loose fitting clothing or workout wear. Footwear: bare feet, socks or Chuck Taylors. Expect a light sweat. Each participant will complete a one page accident/injury report at the beginning of the first class in order for the Instructor to be aware of any physical limitations or precautions.
