CAMP OVERVIEW

The 2013 NJTL Tennis Summer Camps are packed with FUN and instruction, drills, games, individual and team competition. Campers learn tennis fundamentals, scoring, rules and sportsmanship. For ages 5-10, the camp incorporates the USTA’s 10 and u der tennis which uses equipment and courts that are sized appropriately. 11-18 year olds receive a dynamic instructional program utilizing standard courts and equipment. Maximum 8 to 1 student to instructor ratio.

CAMP OVERVIEW

In conjunction with tennis instruction, campers this year willl this take part in brief daily NJTL Curriculum Life Skills Lessons. Topics will include: Being Positive, Understanding Nutrition, Appreciating Diversity, Resolving Conflict. Tennis racquets, equipment, balls, and water will be provided. Campers may bring their own racquet, towel, snack, and water. Periodic breaks will be taken.

• Weekly Camps: Monday – Thursday • Dates: June 3 – July 25 • Times: 8:00 – 11:00 AM • Ages: 5 – 18 • Weekly Cost: $25 or $75 per child depending on camp location • Summer Pass: $100 or $350 per child depending on camp location • Camps open at 7:45 AM. Pick up no later than 11:15 AM • Daily sessions may be canceled or delayed for rain. Call your site. Fridays make up day for inclement weather. No Refunds. • Group rates available for organizations, daycares, churches, non profits

• Summer – End Jamboree, Sat., July 27th 8:30am-12pm • Weekend Match Play • Singles/Doubles Tournament, Fri. /Sat. July 26th & 27th • 15th Annual Arthur Ashe Essay Contest, Deadline: June 28th • Community Service project These activities are optional for all campers. There is a nominal charge for Weekend Match Plays. All other activities listed are offered at no additional fee.
