THIS COURSE IS RESTRICTED TO AGE 16 AND OVER COMBINED COURSE: SCUBA and CADET RECON Returning Cadets Only or Cadets from other programs with at least 10 days of residential training and pre-approval to enroll. Training includes (based on scheduling): Close Quarters Combat Simulation Training, Cliff Rappelling, Advanced First-Aid, Extreme Team-building Sessions, and so much more! THE PROGRAM IS OPEN TO CADETS AND STAFF OF ALL CADET AND EXPLORER PROGRAMS. TRAINEES MUST BE AGE 14+ OR AGE 13 AND HAVE COMPLETED A TWO-WEEK RESIDENTIAL CADET BASIC TRAINING PROGRAM. The PADI Open Water Diver Course, includes: * A series of four academic sessions and four pool sessions, each two hours. * Two three-hour open water sessions, conducted over two days, at a private lake in Pelham, Alabama. * FTX at Oak Mountain State Park on the evening between the two open water dives. * Use of ALL diver equipment (mask, fins, snorkel, regulator, etc.) during the course. * PADI Open Water Diver certificate of completion and card. * Liability and Accident Insurance during the course. Additionally, the registration fee includes: * Three XMC T-shirts, a rigger belt and two pair of tactical diver shorts. This is an academic course, resulting in eligibility for one college credit. While trainees are held to military conduct, bearing and grooming standards, this course is not an orientation to basic military life. NOTE: There are NO REFUNDS for those who drop-out, fail to meet the standards or return home for ANY reason. NOTE: Two females must be enrolled in this program in order to have female participation.
