Join us April 20 & 21, 2013 for the Marion Rotary Marathon for Shoes. Our weekend begins on Saturday with a 5k, The M.A.C. Health & Fitness Expo, Bike Ride, and Marion Cares Pasta Dinner. Then join us Sunday for the Marathon, Marathon-Relay, & Half-Marathon. All packet pick-up takes place Saturday, April 20.
The Marion Rotary Marathon for Shoes is hosted by The Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary Club. This event will raise money for a variety of the club's charitable activities serving our youth, including Shoes for Kids. Shoes for Kids is a collaboration between the Marion-East Cedar Rapids Rotary and Payless Shoe Source to offer prepaid shoe cards to kids in need. These cards are distributed throughout the local schools to kids in need of adequate footwear.
Finisher Medals to all participants who complete the Marathon, Marathon-Relay, and Half-Marathon course. High quality dry-fit shirts will be provided to all paid participants in the Marathon, Marathon-Relay & Half Marathon.
