With the New Year right around the corner (yes it is), NOW is the time to make a plan to turn reach your personal health and fitness goals! This is a great program for someone who has been running exclusively on the treadmill and would like to take it outdoors, as well as someone who only occassionally runs outddoors and would like to take their limited running background to the next level. This class begins where Level I leaves off (you needn't have participated in Level I to join!). We recommend that you already be able to comfortably run 2 miles continuously, regardless of pace. Increased attention will be given to improved endurance and understanding the importance of pacing. Our group workouts provide you with a safe, positive and supportive environment in which to take your fitness to the next level as we work toward our goal of covering 6 miles by program completion. In addition to our twice weekly group workouts we will provide online guidance and direction in the form of structured workouts/'homework' for you to do in between our regular group meetings. Towards the end of class we will select a local road race in which to participate.
The class will meet at JackRabbit 72nd Street location between Columbus & Broadway with our workouts taking place in Central Park
