We recommend that you already be able to comfortably run 2 miles continuously, regardless of pace. Increased attention will be given to improved endurance and understanding the importance of pacing. Our group workouts provide you with a safe, positive and supportive environment in which to take your fitness to the next level as we work toward our goal of covering 6 miles by program completion. In addition to our twice weekly group workouts we will provide online guidance and direction in the form of structured workouts/'homework' for you to do in between our regular group meetings. Towards the end of class we will select a local road race in which to participate.
The class will meet at JackRabbit 72nd Street location between Columbus & Broadway with our workouts taking place in Central Park
Days/Date/Time: Every Tuesday at 6:45pm and Saturdays at 8:30am from March 25th threu May 31st with NO class May 24th for the Memorial Day weekend. Class will meet rain or shine, or cold and snow.
