Pepperdine Head Coach Julie Rousseau and her staff will serve as Camp Directors. Coach Rousseau has led Pepperdine to 3 post season appearances. Prior to Pepperdine, Coach Rousseau served as the Head Coach of the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks and was an Assistant Coach for Stanford, where she went to the Elite Eight and won 4 Pac-10 Titles.
Camps will be at Pepperdine University in beautiful Malibu, CA. Basketball activities will be held outside on Pepperdine's outside courts below Firestone Fieldhouse.
Meals and Housing
Resident campers will stay in Pepperdine dormitories overlooking the ocean and will have a wide variety of food choices in the buffet style cafeteria. Resident campers will be provided breakfast, lunch and dinner. Commuter campers will be provided lunch and dinner.
A certified Athletic Trainer will be on staff to treat athletic injuries.
Campers who will be staying overnight in the dorms will need to bring:
Bedding (i.e. sleeping bag), a pillow, towels, toiletries, flip flops, etc.
In addition, campers should pack several t-shirts, shorts, socks, a pair of basketball shoes (preferably not brand new), a sweatshirt, and pajamas.
Please DO NOT BRING VALUABLE ITEMS.
Camper rooms will be inspected before check-out: damages must be paid for before departing camp.
All attempts will be made to meet roommate requests that were provided on the registration form. Campers who did not request a roommate will be roomed with another camper of the same age.
Campers who lose their dorm keys will be charged $75 at checkout.
Pepperdine University does not require parking permits during the summer sport camps.
Campers will pick up their camp t-shirt at registration.
There will be a camp store that will sell Pepperdine Basketball gear. The camp store will be open at registration and at the end of camp.
Refunds will not be given.
