Come join Training Bible coaching for a fantastic training camp offered to athletes who are targeting a late season Ironman race. Held in Madison, Wisconsin, this camp will focus on scouting the Ironman Wisconsin bike, run, and swim course. It’s perfect for athletes racing here in September, but also can also benefit the athlete racing a late summer/fall long course triathlon.
While on this camp, athletes will get direct knowledge of the unique nature of the IMWI bike course including the many steep climbs, descents, twists and turns. On this camp, athletes will learn strategies and skills on how to attack this course on race day. With two long rides on the bike course, athletes will have the opportunity to simulate race conditions unlike any other training session they could do at home. This is offered to athletes of all ability levels and provides excellent learning opportunities with a small coach to athlete ratio so the needs of each individual can be met. - Scott Iott, Adam Zucco, and other TBC Coaches on hand for all questions - Two days of riding ON the Ironman Wisconsin bike course including riding the “loop” - Coach-led group runs ON the Ironman Wisconsin run course - Walk-through and discussion of the distinctive transition areas at the convention center - Run and ride supported with water and Cliff bar nutrition products - Course talks, pacing goals and techniques for each leg of the race. - Discount offers from Skinfit, Geneva Running Outfitters, and Bike Shop of Glen Ellyn Tentative Camp Schedule – All events will start the the swim start of Ironman Wisconsin located at 1 John Nolan Drive Friday 11:00 am – Camp registration 12:00 pm – 3 hour ride on course.
