      Discover the essentials of growing heirloom tomatoes. Learn how to mix soil to start seedlings, the conditions necessary to grow the seedlings, when to transplant to the garden and how to maintain and harvest the plants. Walk away with planted seed to eventually plant in your garden, many of which have been saved for over 10 years! 1 Session. INSTRUCTOR: Sonja Schlesner, 1997 UW-Madison graduate in Biological Aspects of Conservation. Interned at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute. Owns and runs Peach Tree Organic Gardens, certified organic since 2012.
