Edgewood is a Catholic, co-educational high school founded in 1881 by the Dominican sisters based in Sinsinawa, WI. The sisters founded and sponsor a number of schools in southern Wisconsin and neighboring states. Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart educates the whole student for a life of learning, service and personal responsibility through a rigorous academic curriculum that embraces the Sinsinawa Dominican values of Truth, Compassion, Justice, Partnership and Community. The Edgewood High School Maroon & Gold Club is sponsoring a Summer Conditioning Camp May 29 - August 2 for students entering grades 8-12. Conditioning Camp is held at Edgewood High School throughout the campus and facilities, with coaches and former athletes of EHS serving as instructors. All students entering grades 8-12 are welcome at the EHS Summer Conditioning Camp, regardless of the school they will attend. The cost is $90 for the summer. Participants will receive an introduction to and ongoing instruction in weight training, speed development, agility and quickness drills and plyometrics. It is not expected that campers have had prior experience with this type of conditioning. Conditioning Camp is a great way to improve speed, strength, agility, and jumping ability-and it's an opportunity to connect with other students at the same time.
