What's Included

An introduction to learning the violin. Students will learn how to pluck, play with the bow, and read/play music on the violin. The course covers the basics including playing position, bow hand, proper handling of instruments, beginning tone production, consecutive fingering, and separate bowing. A performance will be given at the end of the semester. Each student will need to provide their own instrument. No class on February 17th or March 31st Instructor: Natalie Paul, Macon Youth Strings Director. Location: Clarke Fine Arts Center
