About This Activity

This class is perfect for adults who have never had ballet classes or for those who would like to begin again after an absence of years. Ballet exercises and steps will be chosen to enhance the fitness and coordination of the adult dancer, while stressful steps and positions will be avoided. Adults who enroll in this class will, hopefully, see an improvement in muscle tone, increase their range of motion and develop an appreciation for ballet. We will cover basic ballet technique including barre and center exercises that encourage stretching, strengthening and tone, along with with an introduction to ballet terminology.
