What's Included

Dive into the world of Python game development this summer at Newton’s Attic! Why just learn to play video games when you can learn to make them? This course is designed to extend the Introduction the Python Programming class and will allow students to gain experience programming games using Python. Students will learn the basics of 2D game development as they design and code a game from a list of classic titles including Pong, Frogger, and Space Invaders! They will first work on developing the foundation of their game, and then will add animations and sound effects as the week progresses. Students must come with previous Python programming experience if they have not taken the Introduction to Python Programming course.
