What's Included

Engine Makeover with Tom Novitsky Discover the the science and “Magic” inside a small gas engine with Master Teacher Tom Novitsky! Small gas engines have been around since the 1860s and serve us in many wonderful ways. They power lawn mowers, tillers, generators, and other useful home tools. They also power our fun: go-carts, mini-bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, and other toys. But just what’s inside a gas engine? Well, a lot of science and a little “magic” too. Students will learn how they work by completely breaking down and then rebuilding a small gas engine. They will also learn how to trouble shoot problems when they don’t want to work. So be ready to get a little greasy and fill up your “science tank of knowledge” as we discover the secrets of the gas powered engine.
