What's Included

In this class, students will assemble, program, and learn how to use their very own 3D Printer. This multi-step process will start with an UpOne 3D Printer Kit and end with a fully functioning 3D Printer and the knowledge to progress in this rapidly growing field. With 3D Printing, nearly anything can be made from custom figurines to upgrades for your printer. Participants will learn the basics of Autodesk Inventor, a professional 3D CAD modeling program, hand tool use and electronic skills. The price includes the UpOne Kit and a 1kg spool of filament with a total retail value of $250.

Newton's Attic, a nonprofit founded in 1998 by Bill Cloyd, is dedicated to providing students with highly unusual educational experiences and providing STEM (Science Technology, Engineering Mathematics) educational resources to parents, students and teachers.
