What's Included

It's going to be awesome! Biking, caving, camp fires, canoeing, lots of good food - all sorts of fun! We will have a pre-trip meeting in late February to talk more about transportation, bike routes, and activity options. We'll leave for western Kentucky on Friday, March 7, and return to campus on Sunday, March 16. Exact times will be decided upon as a group. If you need to borrow one of the Transy bikes for this trip, please email Luke Gnadinger (lagnadinger15@transy.edu) ASAP. If you know if you what size bike and/or what type of bike you need, you can request it. If you have no idea, no worries. Stop by the Transy Bikes! shop to get sized. You can stop in during open shop hours (Tuesdays from 6:00-8:30 & Thursdays from 12:30-3:00), or email Luke to make an appointment. We'll help you figure it out. One of the optional activities during Spring Break is attending the Sustainability Symposium on Friday, March 15 at Western Kentucky University, organized by the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education. Students who wish to participate in the symposium will be sponsored by the sustainability office; there will be no cost to you. For more information on the symposium, visit http://kaee.org/symposium/. Email Angela (apoe@transy.edu) to register for this option. Please note that the full $300 must be paid no later than March 2. Deposits are non-refundable after February 23. Questions can be sent to Luke, lagnadinger15@transy.edu, or Angela, apoe@transy.edu. And, one of us will be in touch with you soon.
