The USA Triathlon Art and Science of Triathlon International Coaching Symposium will feature a dynamic lineup of international and national experts in triathlon and a keynote presentation.
Presenters include: Joe Friel, Carwyn Sharp, Jeff Galloway, Bobby McGee, Jono Hall, Sara McLarty, Lindsay Hyman, Jesse Kropelnicki, Suzanne Atkinson, Matt Valyo, Duston Morris, Ian Murray, David Bertrand,Tara S. Comer chair of USA Triathlon Women’s Committee, Steve Jonas, Amanda Duke Boulet and many, many more.
The Coaching Symposium will feature a theme this year of “Innovate, Communicate and Achieve.” Some of the presentation topics will focus on Increasing Participation and Supporting Growth for Female Triathletes, Developing Female Leadership in Governance, Coaching Elite Athletes - Individual and Team Dynamics, Prescriptive Bike Fitting, Should Anyone Be Doing LSD or Recovery Workouts?, Open Water Swimming, Coaching Powerfully: The Greatest Triathlon Coaching Minds, NCAA, Athlete Assessment, Nutrition and Training Considerations for Vegetarians/Vegans, Cycling with Power, Dealing with Common Injuries, Coaching Leadership, Coaching Elite ITU Athletes, Coaching Beginners and many more.
USA Triathlon Certified Coaches earn 15 CEUs for attending the entire conference and will receive a certificate of completion after the conference.
Price of the Symposium is $595 which includes two lunches and snacks (Friday and Saturday) and a free pass to Interbike on Thursday. All meals will be served at the Symposium site.
The host hotel for this event is the Mandalay Bay. A block of rooms has been reserved for attendees at a discounted rate. A link for online reservations will be provided after registration. The discounted rate will be available until August 1, 2014 or until the block has been filled.
Cancellations after July 18, 2014, result in a $50 penalty

Check-in for the Symposium will begin on Thursday, Sept 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. The Symposium will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept 12 and will conclude at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept 13.
Keynote presentation will be held Friday, Sept 12 at 3:30 p.m.
