Whidbey Island Triathlon

About This Activity

Chip timing. Scenic course. Friendly volunteers. Great first triathlon. Start with a half mile swim in beautiful Goss Lake on South Whidbey Island. Leaving the lake on your bike, begin the 19.5 mile ride through paved county roads. The bike course is hilly with views of Saratoga Passage and the North Cascades. Finish with a 3.8 mile run through forest trails at Community Park and county roads. The past few years filled to capacity, with a wait list, so register early.

Team Captain Registration

To Create, Join and Pay for your team:
Click the "Register Now" button and choose the "Team Captains - Create, Join and Pay for your Team) category.
Type in your team name near the top of the registration form along with a team password.
Finish registering.
Be sure to let your team members know you have created the team and give them the team password too so they can join as a team member.

Team Member Registration

To join your team click on the "Register Now" button and choose the Team Members - Join your Team category.
Select your team name from the drop down menu at the top of the registration form.
Enter in the team password below.
Continue and finish your registration.


Fees include a 8.7% sales tax. Register early and save! Individuals: $55 until 5/1; $65 until 7/1; $75 until 8/1.Teams: $110 until 5/1; $135 until 7/1; $150 until 8/1.

AwardsTop male and female overall in the triathlon will receive trophies. Top 3 males and females in Orca division will receive neck medals. First place in team divisions of male, female, mixed, under 99 years, over 99 years, over 149 years and over 200 years combined age will receive neck medals.Age Groups16 – 19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65+ and so on, depending upon turnout.Post RaceAfter the race enjoy healthy snacks, gatorade and fresh fruit during the awards ceremony and race results. Door prizes will be raffled at awards ceremony. Results will be available after race.
