Brief Description

Participants are invited to tryout for the Underclassman Games of the Under Armour All American Lacrosse Classic. Those selected to their regional team will play in a three day tournament (July 1-3, 2011) guaranteed 4 games against other regional teams. This tournament is for bragging rights as there will be the best talent in the country competing.

US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP:

All participants MUST be a member of US Lacrosse to participate in this event and be covered by the event’s insurance policy. Player who are not members WILL NOT be able to participate.

Your membership number can be found above your name on all mailings from US Lacrosse including your membership card and your Lacrosse Magazine label. OR you can look it up HERE.

IMPORTANT NOTE

You MUST register at least one week prior to your first tryout date to be included in the coaches booklet.

IF YOU REGISTER 48 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST DAY OF TRYOUTS PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR REGISTRATION TO THE TRYOUTS.

ELIGIBILITY

Both boys and girls who graduate in the classes of 2012, 2013, and 2014 are eligible to tryout. Please register for the tryout location that is most convenient.

SELECTION

Players will be judged by a panel of knowledgeable sources as well as coaching experts from that region. Each team will consist of a minimum of 22 players and will be chosen based on position and their performance at that day's tryout. The decision of the selection committee is final.

REGISTRATION FEES

REGISTER EARLY & SAVE Fee will increase by $10 as of May 1st so sign up early and save.

All participants will pay a Non-Refundable registration fee to participate in the tryout. The fee covers the the costs of the venues, coaches, insurance, uniforms and other administrative expenses.

Boys Fee $125 until May 1;
$135 on or after May 2

Girls Fee $70 until May 1;
$80 on or after May 2

REGISTRATION QUESTIONAIRE

During registration you will be asked information about your lacrosse, academic & personal history that will be made available to the college coaches.

This invaluable tool will give them detailed information to assist with their evaluation & provide them with contact information should they need it.

We ask that you answer ALL QUESTIONS completely and accurately.

ATHLETE BENEFITS

College Coaches from DI, DII & DIII college lacrosse programs will be invited to attend both the regional tryouts as well as the games in Baltimore.

Participants who play in the Underclassman games will have the inside track towards being exposed to the selection committee of Under Armour All-America team which they will be eligible for once they are seniors.

ADDED BENEFITS

Each participant will receive a year-long subscription to Inside Lacrosse Magazine (a $34.95 value)

Each participant will receive an official Under Armour Tech T with the event logo

If you make your regional all star team, you will receive a complementary ticket to the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic on July 2, 2011 at Towson University.

EQUIPMENT

Boys players are required to provide their own sticks, helmets & pads for the tryouts & games.

Girl players are required to provide their own sticks, gloves & goggles.

Each registrant will be provided with a unique number reversible to identify them to the college coaches & selection committee & is yours to keep.

Those who make an Under Armour Underclassman All-Star Team will be provided with an Authentic Under Armour Game Uniform for the games on July 1-3, 2011 & is yours to keep.
