The Myrick Hixon EcoPark is nestled among the La Crosse River Marsh, grass prairies, towering limestone bluffs and the La Crosse River near where it converges with both the Black and Mighty Mississippi Rivers.
The EcoPark is a center for education, entertainment, events and exploration plus serves as a trailhead to hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, running, skiing and snowshoeing trails.
The EcoPark is an independent, non-profit organization that works in collaboration with the former Hixon Forest Nature Center, seven area Rotary clubs, and the City of La Crosse. The EcoPark celebrates and continues a legacy of over 100 years of environmental protection and awareness.
