Jamaica by Bike hosted over a hundred cyclists in the 2012 Kingston to Negril Ride Challenge. This saw the realization of JBBL contributing to the purchase of much needed equipment at the University of the West Indies ICU units.
The 2013 route will take us through the scenic Bog Walk Gorge, traversing the historic Flat Bridge along the banks of the Rio Cobre river to Bog Walk, with a rest and refueling stop in Ewarton. The gradual climb over Mount Rosser descending into Moneague, for a quick rest stop, before proceeding to Ocho Rios via the scenic Fern Gully. Once on the coast we then continue pass Dunns River on our way to Drax Hall. The ride continues westward along the coast passing through several scenic and historic towns before reaching the city of Montego Bay where a lunch stop is planned, before taking on the final forty plus miles into Negril.
