These 1.5 hour clinics/ workouts will enhance your open water skills, build open water confidence and at the same time provide you the ability to swim on the course being used in Ironman Lake Tahoe. Whether you are competing in the Ironman, training for your first triathlon or are just an open water swimming enthusiast, these clinics can help you improve. Swimmers should be reasonably comfortable in open water and be able to swim 400 meters in open water continuously. Lake Tahoe is cold year round and the water temperature will be between 58 and 62 degrees. We HIGHLY ENCOURAGE that you wear a wetsuit.
