Kathy Loper Events partnered with Marathon Adventures are proud to bring you the oportunity for those of you who want to run a marathon/half on the seven Continents, to "check off" Antarctica and South America in a week's time.
For those of you who are pron to sea sickness, no need to worry. We will cross the Drake Passage at a smooth & comfortable 31,000 feet. Because we are flying in and out of King George Island on a runway with GPS navigation and landing systems, there is less risk of weather impact or delaying our departure date. The plane we arrive on will stay for the duration and will take us back to Punta Arenas the same day. The interest has been strong for this exciting tour, SO don't delay in signing up as we only have 20 available spots.
Please note this event is spectator friendly; you don't have to participate in the runs to travel with our tour. . So tell your neighbors and family members about this incredible, awesome travel experience.

Optional Travel Protection Plan: is available which covers your moneys paid if you must cancel or interrupt your trip for medical reasons. If there are any pre-existing conditions, it must be paid within 21 days of the initial deposit, cannot be added later.
Balance due by latest December 5th, 2012.

Your travel package has been developed as a group movement in order to take advantage of specially negotiated prices when traveling as a group
Cancellations received in writing by Sept 15th, will be refunded $500 from their $2050 deposit payment
Cancellations received in writing from Sept 16th to Sept 30th, based upon their deposits of $3100, will be refunded $500
Cancellations received in writing from Oct 1st to Dec 5th, based upon deposit payments of $4000 there will be no refund
No refunds after December 14th.
If cancellation becomes necessary the above refunds would be acknowledged.
Final payment is due by Dec 5th
If a sharing person drops out, he/she is responsible for the resulting single room supplement cost to the remaining room partner, unless a new share person can be found that suits the remaining room partner.
A fee of $200 per person will apply per deviation or change from the published program, plus the extra costs of new or changed services.
If such changes necessitate cancellation of confirmed air or ground arrangementes which are subject to cancellation charges, unrecoverable costs will be added to the change fee (this occurs likely within 30 days of departure when air tickets and other travel documents have been issued).
