What's Included

Presented by Dr. Daniel McIntosh, University of Missouri- Kansas City For more than 25 years, the Hubble Space Telescope has been orbiting the Earth and taking pictures of the universe to help us understand how the universe was made. Capturing breath-taking images such as the very birth of a star, Hubble has made significant contributions to the fields of astronomy and physics. Come hear Dr. McIntosh describe the significance of such pictures and our understanding of the universe. Listen to what the future holds for the Hubble Space Telescope as it peers deeper into the universe. All SSS are first come, first serve. Due to Fire Code, no more than 440 people are allowed in the Extreme Screen Theatre. Please plan accordingly, as most all of the seminars fill up before 9 am – thank you!
