What's Included

Creating characters who matter to each other (and the audience) is one of the most important skills in improvisation. Compelling relationships are the heart of any improv scene—whether it's in a long-form piece or short-form game. We'll play with different ways to create characters (from your head, your heart, and your whole body) and a variety of ways into relationships (from emotional responses to spacial relationships to game moves). Improv 201 is a 5-week, 2 1/2 hour class. ComedyCity Improv 101: The Basics is a required prerequisite; ComedyCity Improv School 200-level classes include "Objects and Environment," and "Emotions and Dialogue" and can be taken in any order. Cost is $125 (open to people 18 and up). INSTRUCTORS: Trish Berrong and Jared Brustad
