What's Included

Dates: Wednesday, June 17 1:30 - 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 24 8:30 - 5:30 p.m. // Reflexology is the bodywork modality in which defined points on the feet, hands or ears are stimulated, resulting in specific reflexive activity of the nervous system. It is also thought that this pressure relieves blocked energy and allows the body to work more efficiently. In the 1930’s, physical therapist Eunice Ingham refined the familiar modern-day system of foot reflexology. In this course, students will focus on the Ingham Method of Foot Reflexology, which improves nerve function and blood supply to normalize body processes and relieve tension. This course utilizes lecture, discussion, demonstration and hands-on techniques. // IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION The registration deadline for this class is Tuesday, June 16 at 4:00 p.m. CST. Cancellations made after this date/time will not be refunded. Please also note that the $4.95 fee and credit card fees of up to 4% will not be refundable if cancelled. // REQUIRED TEXT This course has a required textbook that the student will need to acquire separately. The text is titled Better Health with Foot Reflexology “The Ingham Method” by Dwight C. Byers. // NOTE: This class is part of an existing massage therapy program. You will be in class with massage therapy students. // Course Code: CE1506REFM Hours: 12 // Instructor: Kristin Lennard, LMT // Prerequisite: LMT/Massage Student
