The dirtiest race of the year returns to MCB Hawaii!!! Get your teams ready for an exciting 5 mile run through the mud and dirt on board Marine Corps Base Hawaii Kaneohe Bay. This unique run takes teams through the Nu'upia ponds and down the Fort Hase beach, over and under obstacles that challenge the strongest of competitors. The event is open to the public.

This is a 6-person team event. Teams with children ages 10-13 need to have at least 1 adult (person 18 or over) on the team. The minimum age to participate in this event is 10. NO STROLLERS!
The age/team divisions are listed below. These are the ages of all 6 team members combined on race day. For the mixed group there is no age requirement, but the team must consist of 3 men and 3 women. YOUNG MEN- 120 total years and below WARRIOR MEN- 121-210 total years MEN'S MASTERS- above 211 total years WOMEN'S OPEN- 210 total years and below WOMEN'S MASTERS- 211 total years and above MIXED- 3 men and 3 women (no age requirement)
Team Entry Info
This is a team event. The teams must consist of 6 participants. For the Mixed Category to be considered for awards, teams must have 3 males and 3 females.
Regular entry fee will be $140.00 until 1600 on Friday, 8 February 2013. Late registration will be $155.00. All entries must be received by Wednesday, 13 February 2013. Entries will not be taken after February 13, 2013 1600 HST.
Mandatory packet pickup will take place at the Fitness Expo on Friday, 15 February 2013, at the Kahuna's Ballroom on MCB Hawaii from 1500-1900. Timing chips and race packets will be distributed at the Fitness Expo. **It is the team's responsibility to keep track of their timing chip and bib number for the race. WE WILL NOT PROVIDE REPLACEMENT CHIPS ON RACE DAY. Packets will not be available for pickup on race day.
All teams MUST SUBMIT A SIGNED WAIVER FORM IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THEIR PACKETS AT THE FITNESS EXPO. Waiver forms are mandatory and must be signed by all 6 team members.
T-shirts are not guaranteed if you register after Friday,8 February 2013, at 1600 HST.
In the interest of safety, event staff HIGHLY RECOMMEND that race participants consider the environment of the course when choosing race attire. Please WEAR PANTS and shoes that protect your ankles, such as boots. If you choose to wear low top shoes, we advise that you duct tape them to your ankles, as they will come off in the mud if not properly secured. Race participants are strongly encouraged not to wear shorts or anything else that will expose the skin.
