Second of three races in the Starlit Running Company's Nighttime Summer Race Series. *Register for all 3 and receive an AWESOME finisher’s medal upon completion of the 3rd! It is not necessary to run the same distance in all three events to be awarded the medal. Your participation and support of our cause is all that is necessary, so feel free to mix up the distances or use the series to focus on improving just your 5K or 10K time! .
SRC Nighttime Summer Race Series Dates & Times
Starry Night 5K & 10K Run: June 15, 2013 at 8:30 PM, A Midsummer Night’s 5k & 10K Run: July 13, 2013 at 8:30, & Blue Moon 5K & 10K Run: August 10, 2013 at 8:15 *Times are set according to sundown.
A portion of the proceeds will go to aid families and/or individuals affected by cancer.
Packet pick-up will be held at the race start on July 13th from 5p.m. to start of race.
Flat and fast out and back trail of hard-packed crushed rock. The trail will be lit with luminary bags, but headlamps are welcome.
Act Now Promotions will provide chip timing for all registered 5K and 10K runners.
Registrants registered by July 6th will be guaranteed a technical race shirt. After July 6th, shirts will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
Runners will enjoy ice cream bars and other snacks from our sponsors!
Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female in the 5K & 10K distances. Age category awards will be given for the following age categories: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
There will be professional DJ playing music and keeping runners informed during the event.

Race Day Registration
Race day registration will be available at the race start from 5:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. The registration fee will increase on race by $5 per event except for the 1 Mile Fun Run, which will remain fixed at $10.
1 Mile Fun Run
Note that the 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 8:00p.m. 1 Mile Fun Run participants under the age of 12 will receive a goodie bag and finisher's medal upon completion of the race. All Fun Run participants will enjoy post-race snacks and festivities.
Facilities: Porta-potties will be available at the start. Hydration and Fuel: Water and electrolyte stations will be located approximately every 1.5 miles.
