Months before he died, Jacob declared that he would be famous. He was a healthy, happy, six-year old who died from a potent e. coli bacteria. Jacob's family and friends established the ETSU Foundation for the Jacob Francisco Lectureship with the ETSU Quillen College of Medicine. Renowned experts in e.coli research and treatment educate physicians, health care professionals, and the community. This year, money raised from the Jacob Francisco Memorial Century/Awareness Walk goes to the Boone Watershed Partnership-Sinking Creek Restoration Project to develop an environmental education park at the E. coli-contaminated Sinking Creek in Johnson City, Tennessee. Awareness raised =saved lives, and Jacob will be famous for saving lives.

We hope you enjoy the beautiful, mountainous and river views during a moderately difficult ride. Wear helmets and obey traffic laws. Please consider an additional donation to the Jacob Francisco Memorial Century/Awareness Walk.

Fees
Metric Century: $30.00 Quarter Century: $30.00
