"I ran with the veterans, and I finished!"
The Jeremy E. Ray Post 324 is calling on all area runners and families to help support our veterans and some of the areas finest future leaders, scholars and emergency first responders by participating in the 7th Annual Jersey Village American Legion 5K Fun Run.
Proceeds from the event will benefit disabled veterans at Houston VA Hospitals, community programs that provide scholarships and recognition for area students, such as Texas Boys State, National High School Oratorical Contest and Cy-Fair ISD JROTC medals. In addition, the event supports annual first responder honors like the Jersey Village Police Department Officer of the Quarter/Year awards sponsored by the Legion.
We also are actively seeking sponsors for this event and we encourage you to also have a booth and banner at the event with your name prominently displayed. There are numerous and valuable ways our sponsors and donors can promote themselves and be recognized through this event. If you are interested, please contact Donna at email@example.com
