Dog Days of Summer Dash

About This Activity

It's the first 5k of its kind in Martin County, and it's already gone to the dogs.

At 7:30 a.m. Sept. 14, Treasured Lands Foundation and The Pegasus Foundation will host the Dog Days Dash at Indian Riverside Park.

Runners and walkers are invited to bring their best friends along for the ride. From miniature poodle to mastiff, puppy to past one’s prime, all dogs are allowed (except fighters and biters).

Funds raised will benefit The Pegasus Foundation’s spay/neuter program and Treasured Lands Foundation’s land preservation and environmental education program.

The cost to run is $30. There’s also a free 1K for children 12 and younger to encourage more outdoor activity and healthy habits in young people.

For more information, please visit the Treasured Lands Foundation or The Pegasus Foundation Facebook pages.

For sponsorship information, please call Chuck Barrowclough at (772) 475-5346
