The Jacksonville Galloway Training Program is the Official Training Program of 26.2 with Donna.This program is for all levels of runners, from beginning runners to Boston qualifiers. This Low-mileage, Injury-free Training Program is for those who have jobs, families, and a life!Visit www.JaxGalloway.com for details about this program.
The training fee is non-refundable. Requests for refunds are considered for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a physician's letter. They must be submitted prior to the half-way point in the training season. A $25 processing fee will be retained.
Day 1 Training - Where do I go?
The first day of training for All Galloway Training Programs will be held at 26.2 with DONNA Headquarters starting at 7:00 a.m. Please arrive early, as sessions will begin promptly at 7:00 a.m. All sessions include a run/walk - so please dress accordingly. This program is an 7-8 week program designed for participants who are new to the sport of running, or new to the Galloway method. This program will focus on the basics, allow for one-on-one coaching, and to start our runs will be under 1 mile. At the completion of this program, you will be ready to begin marathon or half-marathon programs and you will be considered an ‘Alumni Member’. Beginners training for the DONNA Marathon starts May 17. Training for the DONNA Half Marathon starts August 2.
DONNA Marathon Training
DONNA Marathon Training will begin on Saturday, July 12. Those of you who have trained with the Galloway Program in the past or participate in our Getting Started program are considered ‘Alumni Members’ and receive a discount.
Half Marathon Training
We are offering 2 half marathon training programs this year! Our first session will begin on Saturday, July 12 and will target the Marine Corps Half Marathon in Jacksonville or the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon. Our second session will begin on Saturday, October 25 targeting the DONNA Half Marathon. Those of you who have trained with the Galloway Program in the past or participate in our Getting Started program are considered ‘Alumni Members’ and receive a discount.
Wednesday Night Speed Training
Back by popular demand! For Alumni who have a need for speed! Led by Program Directors Connie Smith and Dennis Holler, our 1st session will begin on Wednesday, July 30. This program is a 10 week speed and interval program and includes sessions on proper warm-up, cool-down and drills, running form analysis, injury prevention and more! Sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm at Memorial Park in Riverside.
Year Round Marathon Training - Go Rogue!

This is a free program that is proudly partnered with the Galloway Training Program and 26.2 with DONNA. We serve teens of all backgrounds and abilities in grades 9-12. The program is non-competitive so we reach the majority of teens who have never considered themselves an athlete and are not currently involved in athletics.Click Here to visit the Marathon High website to make a donation. $55 sponsors a student, but any amount is appreciated.
The Jacksonville Galloway Training Program meets on Saturday mornings at various locations across the Jacksonville area, and follows Jeff Galloway’s training guidelines to get you safely across the finish line of a half or full marathon if your goals are to finish, or to achieve a ‘PR’. Our group runs feature walking breaks at regular intervals based on your skill level. Pace groups (of usually 8-15) are set up according to current fitness level, and a Group Leader is assigned to keep the speed slow enough for all members, and to enforce walk breaks from the beginning to the end.The first day of training for all programs will be held at 26.2 with DONNA Headquarters starting at 7:00 a.m.
