This program is provided through the Washington County Aging and Disability Resource Center in cooperation with the Arthritis Foundation. The program is a community-based physical activity and self-management education program. While walking is the central activity, Walk With Ease is a multi-component program that also includes health education, stretching and strengthening exercises, and motivational strategies. Group sessions include socialization time, pre-walk informational, lecturettes, warm ups and cool downs and 10-35 minute walking period. The class is held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1-2pm. There is a limit of 12 participants, so, please sign up as soon as possible.
