As an avid cyclist and participant in Party Pardee, WE NEED YOUR HELP to keep the event on the cycling calendar. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) and local law enforcement agencies will have an increased presence during Party Pardee. You will be on the road with other vehicle traffic. For your safety and the safety of others, PLEASE obey traffic laws.
Do not interfere with traffic. Ride single-file, as close to the right side of the road as practicable.
Stop as required at all controlled intersections (stop signs, traffic lights, etc.)
Yield to emergency vehicles.
Respond to the directives of law enforcement officers.
In addition to wearing your wristband, be sure to carry your identification and emergency contact information.
The number of riders is restricted under our permits with local government and Cal-Trans, and will be monitored by law enforcement. Pirating the ride (riding along as an unregistered rider) jeopardizes the future of this wonderful and historic event! If you know of someone who plans to ride along, please ask them not to unless they are a paid and registered participant.
We know that if you follow these simple rules, you can help keep the Party Pardee on the cycling calendar for years to come!
HAVE A GREAT RIDE!
