Long-Toss Question - I want to improve my arm strength and throwing/pitching speed. I've been going out a few days a week for the last month or so to do long-toss, to supplement one team practice most weeks and two games per week. I can probably continue long-toss for 4-5 more weeks before it gets too cold out (games/practices will be done by then too). Will my arm be stronger than it would have been had I not done the fall long-toss work? Or will the progress I make in the fall be for naught, with my arm just reverting to its September/baseline strength after the three-month winter lay-off?
