Access the confirmation email you received upon completion of the registration process to download your E-confirmation card, available here. The E-confirmation card is necessary for retrieving race materials at Packet Pick-up, part of the three-day MCM Health and Fitness Expo.

Check out the 2008 course, download the
complete schedule of events, enjoy a
preview of the 2008 competitor bib, or choose
your start corral. Remember to review
baggage procedures and transportation options including Metro and shuttle services.

Be sure to allot additional time to pass
through runner and spectator security
screening points.

Get Your smile ready for Race Day

Smile for the cameras on the MCM course. Look
for Comcast Sports Net, broadcasting live on the
start line from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Marathon Foto
will capture your experience with 17 cameras along
the course and FLIR Systems, Inc. will broadcast a
live feed of the race at www.flir.com/usmc.
Afterward, view the race day highlights program
on Comcast SportsNet at 10:30 p.m.

Chat one-on-one with some of the most knowledgeable fitness, running and medical professionals at the MCM Expert Bar--three walk-up counters where you can get all your questions answered. Experts include the Clif Pace Team, MCM Race Director Rick Nealis, former Marine and VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club trainer Harvey Walden, IV, and triathlete and marathoner LT Andy Baldwin, M.D., best known from ABC's The Bachelor.

Finish Festival presented by Verizon Wireless

The Finish Festival in Rosslyn presented by Verizon Wireless includes post-race services such as Family Link Up, Check Your Runner powered by EDS, Massage Tent hosted by Aetna, UPS Baggage Pick-Up, Free phone calls courtesy of Verizon Wireless, Metro, shuttles, taxis and food sampling. Plus, Mic Ultra beer garden, Brooks Finisher Store, USAA Finisher Coins, live entertainment and more. Post race, check out results, photos, and more on the customized finisher web pages and download the Finisher Certificate in early December.

MCM Entertainment presented by Verizon Wireless

Click here for more about on-course entertainment that includes everything from bluegrass to cajun and Brazilian samba-reggae to 80's music. Runners will be motivated by seven high school bands, the MCB Quantico Band, Batala - the Beat the Bridge Band, Crystal Run entertainment, the Glass Onion Band on the Verizon Wireless Final Mile Stage and Finish Festival concerts. The BoDeans will highlight the Post Race Concert in Crystal City.

Health and Fitness Expo presented by
     CVS Caremark

The Health and Fitness Expo, to be held October 23-25 at the DC Armory, features more than 200 fitness and nutrition vendors. Runners will want
to check out the Health and Fitness Expo Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, October 23 at
3:30 p.m. Be the first runner in line and receive
a Super-Size Goodie Bag filled with lots of
great prizes!

Be a spectacular spectator

Track a runner through the course or track a runner from home with Remote Runner Tracking. Runners will also want to share the Spectator Guide with family and friends attending the MCM. The guide features suggested viewing locations, tips for a successful race and more!

Healthy Kids Fun Run

Children ages 6-13 can register for the one-mile,
un-timed Healthy Kids Fun Run, presented by the Washington Post, held on Saturday, October 25, the day prior to the MCM in the Pentagon North parking lot. Race day also features family-oriented games and activities at Camp Miles.

For licensed gear, apparel and other merchandise, check out the MCM Shop. Runners can also visit the MCM Souvenir Store. Look for all the MCM licensed vendors at the Health and Fitness Expo.

Get in Gear with Brooks

With race day rapidly approaching, great Brooks MCM gear is now available. Women will definitely want to check out the new MCM Epiphany Short.
