We invite you to be a part of the second annual FM 1960 St. Patrick’s Day Parade 5K Fun Run & Walk which will be held right before the 35th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Proceeds from the FM 1960 St. Patrick’s Day 5K Fun Run & Walk support the FM 1960 St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Cypress Creek EMS Scholarship Program. The race will begin between 1:45-2:00 PM and is open to runners and walkers. The parade/race will start at Champions Forest Drive and end on Kuykendahl.

Between 1:45-2:00 PM Start of 5K fun run/walk. As soon as the road is officially shut down the race will start.
Race Day Logistics
Racecourse – The race will begin on Champions Forest Drive and FM 1960 and end on Kuykendahl and FM 1960. Post-Race Party – Join us after for a post race party and parade immediately following the race.
Headphones are discouraged due to safety reasons. Roller skates, bicycles or pets are prohibited.
The FM 1960 St. Patrick’s Day 5K Fun Run is sanctioned by USA Track & Field and the Gulf Association of USA Track & Field. 5K race participants are expected to strictly adhere to USA Track & Field operating regulations. The 5K walk is unsanctioned and non-competitive, and fun for the whole family!
Water will be available at the start and finish lines. A hydration station will be set up along the racecourse around the 1.5 mile point of the race.
Fees: $25 for runners and walkers Expect thousands of spectators to cheer you on. Costumes encouraged.
