What's Included

Makers Space Robotics and 3D Design: For older students, time in the Maker Space allows for expanded exploration based on the creative platform of robotics and / or 3D Design. The VEX IQ system is used to teach programing and engineering design of fully functional robots. Our 3D design area of study begins by giving students the computer software skills to be able to bring their ideas to life. Using a variety of programs such as Inkscape, Tinkercad and SketchUp, we create our virtual models before printing them in plastic on one of our MakerBot 3D printers. Group social skills such as cooperation, collaborative brainstorming, and positive team building make this the perfect space to make amazing projects and like-minded friends. *All materials provided
