What's Included

This music theory class focuses on the skills involved in matching up what you hear in the music with what you see on the page. Great for songwriters who want to get what they hear in their heads out onto the page as sheet music. Helps build skills for composing and arranging. Great for choral singers/vocalists who want to increase their sight reading skills, or anyone who wants to become better at reading music. Helps familiarize you with score-reading and enables you to get more accurate and in-depth information from your sheet music. A great intro or sidekick to traditional music theory courses. Learn how to identify time signatures by listening to a piece of music, how to conduct in basic time signatures, and how to read time signatures from sheet music. Learn how to identify key signatures in music that you’re listening to and in your own music as you’re writing songs and ‘listening’ to them in your mind. Expand your musical horizons by listening to and analyzing songs from Classical to Pop and everything in-between. This class is for High School students to Adults Instructor: Mark DiCampo
