This is a 10K RUCK Challenge race for individuals or teams. Runners in a RUCK wear either a weighted vest or backpack. For this event the weights will be 45 lbs. for men and 25 lbs. for women. We are encouraging team participation. Teams must have a minimum of 4 participants. Team score will be the average time of all group members. RUNNERS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN RUCK. A weighted vest, belt or backpack may be used.
Sean Dichson of Combat Fitness Training Facilities has created a training guide which is available to all participants. We strongly encourage 1st time RUCK runners to look it over BEFORE registering. Contact email@example.com to request a copy. Registration and check-in begin at 1:00 pm. The race will begin promptly at 2:00 pm. Online Registration will run thru Sunday, October 20, 2013. Runners may register the day of the event. Registration fee after the October 20 cut off will be $50 for individuals and per member of teams. All proceeds will benefit veteran charities as determined by military units participating in the 10K RUCK Challenge.
