What's Included

Green and growing, plants are so important! This is a program celebrating plants and you will be sowing seeds, tending the new Beaver Brook Children's garden, transplanting young plants (to take home!), pressing flowers and brewing delicious teas from fresh leaves we'll collect and we'll even print some on T-shirts. Through a combination of hands-on activities, games, explorations of meadows, forests and wetlands, you'll gain a new appreciation for these wondrous creatures - and their animal friends and foes. A favorite part of this class is berry-picking (weather permitting) and making blackberry jam. Teacher: Edith Couchman
