This roundtable is a group of retired business and professional men from Hinsdale and the surrounding communities. They meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday, starting at 9:30 am for coffee and donuts and to hear a stimulating speaker on a subject of current or local interest. Fee $3.00 at the door.

Heart failure is a form of heart disease that often impacts a person's quality of life. Learn about heart failure and the available technologies used to manage this disease, such as the LVAD ("heart pump") and/or heart transplant.

- May 22, 2013 - Mr. Hal Tinburg -- retired scientist Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Tinburg will discuss DNA testing and explain a number of applications of this evolving procedure. DNA testing allows investigators to perform almost unbelievable feats of identification. He will describe how DNA testing has solved some decades old cold cases - one case was over 120 years old.
