This super-fun clinic is held in a pool simulating open water conditions in a controlled (and warmer) environment . Clinic will cover the following: •Strategies, mental preparation, sighting, navigation, drafting •How, when and where to warm up, starting position, currents & conditions •Mini-freestyle clinic to learn how to swim STRAIGHT!!
Karlyn lives in Kona, Hawaii and swims almost DAILY in the ocean on the Ironman course. She has competed in open water races since the age 8, has won the USMS National open water championships & has been first overall or first female in numerous open water races setting course records. FYI: Karlyn’s time for a non-wetsuit 2.4 mile swim is 49 minutes and in 2009 she won the Ali'i Challenge 10k swim in 2 hours, 9 minutes.
