Dogs are Welcome
Family friendly pets are encouraged to join you as you participate; leashes must be on at all times, and we ask that you clean up after your pet (shots must be up to date).
We invite you to participate in memory of Blaine, also in honor of those whom you cherish. We will offer a special Celebration of Life bib that you can personalize to honor your loved one. RUN.Remember.Celebrate All proceeds from this event will help fund the Blaine Billinger Excellence in Scouting Foundation, established to share Blaine’s passion for helping others and his love of the outdoors. He started his scouting career at a young age as a Cub Scout, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout as a high school junior in 1998. On September 17, 2011, while riding his mountain bike, Blaine collapsed and passed away after suffering from a Sudden Cardiac Death at the age of 29. The stranger, who came to his aid and cared for him until paramedics arrived, ironically was a fellow Eagle Scout. The Foundation is designed to honor Blaine, promote scouting in a positive way, and to assist scouts who may not otherwise have the means necessary to participate in scouting activities. The fund also provides the scouts the opportunity to obtain a secondary education at Fort Hays State University. For more information visit our website: www.bbscout.org
