2nd Annual Sharkbite 300 Triathlon Benefit Event

About This Activity

The 2nd Annual Shark Bite 300 Benefit Triathlon Event is a chip-timed event hosted by the Dominion Valley Sharks Swim Team and will benefit The American Cancer Society and The Autism Society of Northern Virginia. All age groups are welcome to participate!


From Interstate 66 - go north on Route 15 approximately 3 miles. Turn left at 4th stoplight onto Dominion Valley Drive. Turn right at first stoplight and park in the Merchant Square Parking lot (Giant Food parking lot). The Dominion Valley Sports Center is directly across the street inside the main entrance gate at 5350 Tournament Drive.

Age Groups and Distances

7 - 10 Years Old - Swim 100M, Bike 5KM & Run 1KM 11 - 14 Years Old - Swim 200M, Bike 12KM & Run 3KM 15 - 18 Years Old - Swim 300M, Bike 12KM & Run 5KM Adult Division - Swim 300M, Bike 12KM & Run 5KM TEAM Category - 1 member Swims, 1 member Bikes & 1 member Runs. The distance each team member swims, bikes or runs will be determined by the team member's age and the distances listed above.

Registration fee includes - prizes awarded by age group and gender, event tee shirt, and refreshments. This is a chip-timed event - timing provided by Tri Performance, LLC (www.Tri-Performance.com).

Fees range from $40 - $100 and are based on age group or Team
