Come get blasted with color, while being active and supporting a very worthy cause, the Morrison-Bruce Center for the Promotion of Physical Activity for Girls and Women. At each kilometer during the run/walk - you'll be showered with a bright powdered color (completely edible and non-toxic). Join us afterwards for the MBC’s first ever Health & Fitness Expo and leave with valuable information that allows YOU to live a healthier lifestyle in the beautiful city of Harrisonburg. Registration/packet pick-up begins at 8am on race day. The Daisy Dash will begin at 9am, with the ColorBlast following at 9:30am on the Festival Lawn. Discounted online registration will be available through Thursday, March 28th. Registration will be available online through Friday, April 5th (until 5pm) and on-site the day of the event at an increased price: $20 for children, students, and girls scouts, $25 for adults, $40 for parent/child teams, and $20 for the Daisy Dash. The Morrison Bruce Center develops and provides physical activity programming for girls and women and conducts research to enhance the understanding of the impact of an active lifestyle on women's health. The goals of the center include providing programming that enhances the physical activity levels of girls and women, conducting research within JMU related to women's physical and mental well-being, and to disseminate research-based information related to the role of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle throughout a woman’s life.
