Distances:
2 Mile Fun snowshoe or trail race (perfect for beginners/kids and families)
4 Mile snowshoe or trail race
Long Course Event -13 Milesish snowshoe or trail race (this is a loop course with a aid station every 2 miles or so)
Course Description:
The 4 Mile course is a double loop, where one loop is 2 miles. Thus the 2 Mile course is one loop. The Long Course is is 7 loops of the 2 mile course. Yes, it will equal between 12 and 13 miles. The course itself will be dependent on the amount of snow, but it's a mixture of fields and trails. For the Long Course, you must start your last lap by the 4 hour mark.

We are seeking volunteers for this event to work the Aid Station and Water Stop on the run Course, Finish Line and Sag runner. If interested contact us here.
Packet Pickup:
Packet Pickup/Last Minute registration is Friday, January 20th (10-7PM) & Sat. January 21st (9-5PM) at Fleet Feet Sports, 2210 Monroe Ave, Rochester, NY 14618. You can register day of as well, at Kanatota Lodge, but we do discourage that.
Important Notes: Cotton T-Shirts to all participants registered by January 11th, 2012 and the next 25 registrants. So register early to guartentee yourself a shirt!
For long coursers, you must start your final lap by 12PM
If you plan on renting snowshoes please denote on your application. Rentals are on first come first serve basis through Fleet Feet Sports.
If no snow, then the events will become a trail race.
Directions to Park
Take Route 104 to Holt Rd. Head North on Holt Rd towards Lake Rd. Turn Left onto Lake Rd. The Lodge is on the right about 1/4 mile down on Lake.
Parking
Space is limited in the Kanatota Lots. Please park close together. Overflow parking is near the White House Parking Lot on the Lake or at the Pier Lot area. Also be wary of traffic on Lake Rd.
