The St. Michaels Running Festival in Partnership with the YMCA of The Chesapeake.
Last year, a new race emerged as one of the elite running events in the mid-Atlantic region. With a flat, fast, USTAF certified 1/2 marathon course that winds along the beautiful waterfront communities of St. Michaels, this event attracted runners from all over the US in its opening year. In addition to the 1/2 marathon course, the St. Michaels Running Festival offers a scenic 10k course and a 5k course that winds along the beautiful Miles River.
This year's event has been enhanced to provide runners with an even greater shot at achieving a PR and, of course, all runners are guaranteed a wonderful race experience and a dynamic post-race expo in one of the most exclusive destinations along the Chesapeake Bay. Some of the highlights for this year's race include: more water stations, earlier, cooler start times; new, scenic and distinct 10k course, awesome runner bags, custom medal (for all 1/2 marathon runners) and beer after you finish!
We recorded over 1500 registered runners in 2012, so register now to save your place at the 2nd Annual St. Michaels Running Festival on May 18th, 2013!
All runners will be treated to the same awesome finish line food provided in 2012. Granola bars, sliced oranges, bananas, PBJs (they were a hit in 2012), muffins, water, sports drink and yes weve added the all so important BEER (included in the registration price) to the 2013 list.
Half Marathoners will receive:
- A tech shirt - for registrations received before 4/15/13
- Customized finishers meals
5K and 10K participants will receive:
- A cotton tee - for registrations received before 4/15/13
Upgrade to a tech shirt: 5K and 10K participants can upgrade to a tech shirt for an additional $15.
Awards will be given for the top 3 male and female finishers overall. Age group finishers in half marathon will receive a trophy. Age group winners in the 10K/5K will receive an award.

Policies To Note
- All registrations are non-refundable
- Registrations are non- transferable
- We highly discourage the use of iPods and other digital music players
- Unfortunately, pets are NOT permitted on the courses
- Strollers are permitted on the 5K only. There are no strollers permitted on the half marathon or 10K
- The half marathon course closes at 10:30 am

If youre a company, organization, team, school or a bunch of friends you can take advantage of group pricing discounts. St. Michaels Running Festival offers discount group pricing if your party has 10 or more runners.
