The Lady Speed Stick Women's Half Marathon & 5K Scottsdale-Tempe, AZ presented by Amica Insurance to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure will take place on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Grab your girlfriends for an unforgettable weekend in the Valley of the Sun. Enjoy sunny skies, cool desert breezes and fiery sunsets. Experience unrivaled shopping, dining and nightlife or simply relax and unwind at some of the countrys best spas. The half marathon course will take you from Old Town Scottsdale through scenic Papago Park to beautiful Tempe Beach Park for an extraordinary finish-line party! This event also boasts the legendary 2-in-1 medal & charm!
Half Marathon Start/Finish:
The half marathon is a point to point and will start in Scottsdale and finish in Tempe Beach Park.
5K Start/Finish:
The 5K will start and finish in Tempe Beach Park.
National Charity Beneficiary - Susan G. Komen for the Cure:
Susan G. Komen is the official charity of the Lady Speed Stick Women's Half Marathon Arizona. As part of the Lady Speed Stick Women's Half Marathon Arizona weekend, we encourage you to join Marathon for the Cure and help raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Marathon for the Cure program expands the reach of Komen for the Cure beyond the Race for the Cure 5K Series and offers participants the opportunity to raise much needed funds in support of Komen's vision of a world without breast cancer, while training and running or walking in some of the most elite distance events in the world. TEAM INFORMATION (Half Marathon Only):
Participants can choose to register as an individual or as part of a team. The following info pertains to those who choose to participate in teams:
• Teams can have an unlimited number of members but must have at least 5 female members.
• There will be awards for the top three teams.
• Team scores are based on the finish times of the top 5 female finishers only.
• Individual team members are still eligible for age group awards based solely on their individual finish time.

Half Marathon:

$90 through 5/31
$95 through 9/15
$100 through close on 10/28/12 @11:59 PST.
5K:
$35 through 9/15
$40 through close on 10/28
